Mr. Potts supports C.M. Capital Advisors’ efforts across public markets, including hedge funds, long only equity, and debt strategies. Prior to joining C.M. Capital Advisors, he sourced, selected, and monitored hedge fund managers for Watchtower Management Group, a San Francisco single family office. Prior to Watchtower, Mr. Potts worked at Vanguard performing long-only manager research and oversight work across the firm’s subadvisory business and lineup of active and passive funds and ETFs. He received his BS in Economics with minors in Math and Psychology from Duke University.

Diego Syrowicz
Mr. Syrowicz is the Managing Director of Hedge Funds and Public Markets, responsible for leading asset class portfolio design and investment sourcing and selection. Mr. Syrowicz has over 20 years of experience in investment management and corporate strategy. Prior to joining CM Capital, he was Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) and Head of Hedge Funds within the Global Fiduciary Solutions (GFS) organization, where he was a member of the Investment Manager Oversight Committee and led the ESG program. Previously, he worked at GE Asset Management as Senior Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Hedge Funds, leading the Hedge Fund program across clients, in addition to having select private equity investment responsibilities. Before that, he was Corporate Vice President at New York Life overseeing activities in Corporate Development and M&A, held the role of Investment Analyst at hedge fund Kinyan Capital, and was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Syrowicz holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, a Masters in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), and BS degrees in both Management Science and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Paul Aiello
Mr. Aiello is Chief Executive Officer of C.M. Capital Corporation (“CMC”) and its wholly owned affiliated Registered Investment Advisor, C.M. Capital Advisors (“CMCA”). Established in 1969, CMC is part of the Hong Kong based Cha Group, a global collection of diversified businesses. Mr. Aiello has leadership experience in key investing and operating positions in a variety of international firms across numerous platforms. Prior to joining C.M. Capital, his professional experience has been primarily in the Technology, Media and Tele‐communications (TMT) sectors and includes senior positions with Emerald Media, Star Group (NewsCorp Asia), Morgan Stanley Asia, and CS First Boston Ltd Hong Kong. He also has been a guest Scholar at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing. Mr. Aiello holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Cambridge University and undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Daniel Eisenberg
Mr. Eisenberg supports C.M. Capital Advisors’ private equity investment activities by sourcing, executing, and monitoring both partnership and direct co-investments. Prior to joining C.M. Capital Advisors, Mr. Eisenberg worked as an investment associate at Performance Equity Management, a Connecticut based private equity fund of funds, where he made both partnership and direct co-investments across the buyout and venture capital industry. Mr. Eisenberg holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University, with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership. Mr. Eisenberg is also a CFA Charterholder.
Alice L. Singh
Ms. Singh supports the diverse investment disciplines of Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Real Estate to source and evaluate Chinese/Asian investment opportunities, as well as facilitating engagement with joint venture partners on real estate and other investment transactions. Previously, she was an Associate Consultant at Cambridge Associates. Ms. Singh is a CFA Charterholder. She completed her undergraduate education at Stanford University, and earned a MA in Education from the University of California, Berkeley and a MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Jenchyn Luh
Ms. Luh currently serves as a Board Member of C.M. Capital. She joined C.M. Capital in 1980 and has over 30 years of management experience in investment, real estate, finance, and general administration. Ms. Luh received her bachelor of science from National Taiwan University and Master of Business Administration from Oregon State University.
Biren Bhandari
Mr. Bhandari leads C.M. Capital Advisors’ investment strategy in private equity, encompassing venture capital, growth equity and leveraged buyout funds. He also leads the direct and co-investment practice in venture-stage companies, privately-held businesses, and publicly-traded equities. Prior to joining C.M. Capital Advisors, Mr. Bhandari worked at Ancestry.com in Corporate Development & Strategy where he managed M&A and assisted the company through its successful IPO. Previously, he worked in middle-market private equity at The Riverside Company and in mergers and acquisitions at Thomas Weisel Partners. Mr. Bhandari holds an MBA and a BS in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Management from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
Bruce W. Madding
Mr. Madding is the Vice Chairman of C.M. Capital Corporation and its former President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He was associated with the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation for 22 years, as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial and Investment Officer. Under his leadership the investment performance of the Foundation’s Endowment ranked amongst the top of the Foundation/Endowment Universe. Prior to Kaiser, Mr. Madding was with Price Waterhouse & Company, as a Director and Senior Audit Manager. Mr. Madding has been a featured lecturer at universities and industry programs including Stanford Business School, Institutional Investor, and the CFA Institute. In 2010, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Foundation and Endowment Money Management. A native of San Francisco, Mr. Madding holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has also served on the Investment Committee of the University of California, Berkeley Foundation, been chair of the American Red Cross Investment Committee, and is currently a member of the M Fund Inc. Board of Directors.
John C. Couch
Mr. Couch is the Vice Chairman of C.M. Capital Corporation and its former President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He has served in a variety of executive and board positions during his 50- year career. Prior to joining C.M. Capital Corporation in 2000, he served as Chairman, President and CEO of Alexander & Baldwin Inc. Earlier, he was associated with Litton Industries Inc. Mr. Couch earned Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Engineering at the University of Michigan as well as a Masters of Business Administration Degree at Stanford University.
Johnson M.D. Cha
Mr. Cha is the Founder and a Director of C.M. Capital Advisors. He is also the Chairman of C.M. Capital Corporation and the Managing Director of the Mingly Corporation (based in Hong Kong). Mr. Cha is a member of the board of directors of China International Capital Corporation Ltd., Hanison Construction Holdings Ltd., HKR International Ltd., and Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. Mr. Cha also serves as a trustee, advisor, or committee member of a number of foundations and non-profit institutions in Hong Kong and in the United States. In Hong Kong, those organizations include the Qiu Shi Science & Technologies Foundation, Croucher Foundation and Moral Education Concern Group. Those in the United States include the Science Board of Visitors of UCLA, the University of California at San Francisco, the University of San Francisco and Stanford’s Graduate School of Business Advisory Board. Mr. Cha earned a BS in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon and received an M.B.A from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
